Electrician – JIB Gold Card – 6‑week London School Rewire

About the role

We are seeking qualified electricians holding a JIB Gold Card to join a fast‑paced, six‑week programme rewiring schools across North, East and West London. The role offers stable 9‑hour days and the chance to work on high‑visibility educational infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out complete electrical rewiring in school buildings in accordance with current regulations.
• Install and terminate containment systems such as conduit and trunking.
• Perform first‑fix and second‑fix tasks, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
• Conduct testing, inspection and certification of completed installations.
• Collaborate with the project team to meet tight deadlines and maintain site productivity.

Required profile

• Valid JIB Gold Card (ECS) certification.
• Proven experience on electrical installation and rewiring projects, preferably in the education sector.
• Reliable work ethic with the ability to commit to the full six‑week contract.
• Strong focus on health, safety and workmanship quality.
