Electro-Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Electro‑Mechanical Engineer to join a nationally recognised blue‑chip organisation. The role is field‑based across multiple sites in South East England, offering a varied mix of reactive and planned maintenance on both electrical and mechanical plant.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns and carry out corrective repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and scheduled inspections (PPM) to minimise downtime.
• Support the installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of SCADA systems.
• Document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve equipment reliability.

Required profile

• Qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience working autonomously in a field‑maintenance environment.
• Willingness to work shift patterns covering early mornings to late evenings.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
