Systems Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join a growing engineering manufacturer that delivers highly technical, bespoke systems for scientific and industrial applications. The role involves working across the full engineering lifecycle, from concept through to delivery, within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, including Mechanical, Electronics, Software, Physics, Production and Installation.
• Develop system architectures and define interfaces.
• Support integration, verification and validation activities.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Manage configuration and change control processes.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure technical delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments.
• Solid understanding of systems engineering principles.
• Strong technical problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
