Electromechanical Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to join our UK factory at London Thamesport. The role involves hands‑on maintenance of a wide range of industrial machinery and electrical systems, ensuring continuous production and high efficiency in a safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and service machinery and industrial installations, including motors, gantry cranes, overhead cranes, generators, presses and lathes.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Respond rapidly to production incidents to minimise downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects and technical challenges.
• Ensure strict compliance with industrial safety regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Vocational training (FP) in Electrical/Electromechanical Maintenance or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of industrial electricity, mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Team‑player with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
• Good physical condition and ability to work at heights.
• Experience in prefabricated concrete, heavy industry or similar is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
