Embedded C++ Engineer – Computer Vision & Defence Systems

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Embedded C++ Engineer to develop advanced imaging and computer‑vision systems used in security, enforcement and transport environments. The role sits at the intersection of embedded software, AI‑driven algorithms and hardware, delivering code that runs on intelligent camera platforms deployed worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain modern C++ software for embedded Linux devices.
• Implement new product features while supporting and enhancing existing functionality.
• Maintain build infrastructure, software packaging and release automation pipelines.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and automated testing at unit, integration and system levels.
• Collaborate closely with hardware engineers and algorithm developers throughout the product lifecycle.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues across the software stack.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Experience delivering software in a lean, cross‑functional engineering team.
• Comfortable operating across multiple layers of the software stack, from low‑level code to deployment workflows.
• Willingness to take ownership of technical outcomes rather than just completing tickets.

Required skills

• Modern C++ (C++11/14/17 or later).
