Emergency Practitioner – Staff Bank (Invitation Only)

About the role

This is an invitation‑only position for an Emergency Practitioner joining the NHS Highland Staff Bank. The role is ad‑hoc and supports emergency care across the Highland region, including the island of Hoy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide urgent clinical assessment and treatment to patients in emergency settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to NHS protocols.
• Respond to emergency calls and attend to patients in a variety of community and hospital environments.

Required profile

• Registered healthcare professional qualified to work as an Emergency Practitioner.
• Experience in emergency or acute care settings.
• Ability to work flexibly on an ad‑hoc basis as required by the Staff Bank.
• Willingness to provide a unique invitation code when applying.
