Employer Engagement Consultant – Apprenticeships

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Employer Engagement Consultant to champion our apprenticeship programmes across Bristol, Gloucester and surrounding areas. You will work from home and in the field, building relationships with businesses to drive learner starts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach companies to promote apprenticeship opportunities.
• Develop and nurture employer relationships, ensuring a steady pipeline of learner placements.
• Manage daily activity using internal CRM systems and record progress.
• Conduct organisational needs analyses to match apprenticeship solutions to employer requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver agreed‑upon solutions within set timeframes.
• Report sales performance and market insights on a regular basis.
• Stay up‑to‑date with policy and funding changes affecting apprenticeship delivery.
• Achieve revenue and placement targets.

Required profile

• Experience in employer engagement or business development, preferably within apprenticeships or employability programmes.
• Proven ability to overcome objections and meet sales targets.
• Excellent communication, administrative and organisational abilities.
• Confident, friendly and professional demeanor with a willingness to learn.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Flexibility to travel across the designated region.
