Employer Engagement Officer – Apprenticeship Partnerships

About the role

The Employer Engagement Officer will act as the bridge between our client’s apprenticeship programmes and local employers. You will convert inbound leads, build lasting partnerships and help businesses up‑skill their workforce through tailored training solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Convert leads from marketing channels into active employer partnerships.
• Promote a wide range of apprenticeship and workforce development offerings to new and existing employers.
• Identify skills gaps and design bespoke training solutions to meet recruitment needs.
• Manage employer accounts, driving growth, repeat business and meeting agreed KPIs.
• Oversee enrolment processes in collaboration with business support teams.
• Facilitate guest lectures, project work and work‑experience opportunities for partner organisations.
• Monitor performance against targets and report on progress.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar B2B/B2C role, preferably promoting government‑funded training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong time‑management, planning and presentation skills.
• Full, clean UK driving licence with access to a personal vehicle.
• Willingness to travel flexibly across the region.
