Employment Associate – Hybrid (Birmingham/London/Manchester)

About the role

Join a leading international law firm as an Employment Associate or Senior Associate, working across Birmingham, London or Manchester. The role offers hybrid working, exposure to complex employment matters and the chance to develop direct client relationships while being supported by experienced lawyers.

Key responsibilities

• Support and manage employment tribunal claims, including drafting ET3s and schedules of loss.
• Advise on disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, TUPE and employment status matters.
• Support complex workplace investigations and prepare investigation reports.
• Work on restructuring, outsourcing and organisational change projects.
• Conduct legal research and draft commercially focused advice.
• Attend client meetings and collaborate directly with HR and senior business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience advising employers on both contentious and non‑contentious employment matters.
• Exposure to employment tribunal claims and litigation.
• Strong drafting, research and analytical abilities with a commercial focus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build client relationships.
• Proactive, organised and motivated to develop a career in employment law.
