Employment Barrister – 2+ PQE – Oxfordshire

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Employment Barrister with at least two years of post‑qualification experience to join our nationally recognised Employment team in Oxfordshire. The role offers high‑quality advocacy work across a diverse client base in both the public and private sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Represent clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings from initial instruction through to final hearing.
• Provide strategic, commercially‑focused advice to clients on complex employment law matters.
• Mentor and support junior colleagues, contributing to their professional development.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships across a broad range of sectors.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years PQE in employment law with a proven track record of Tribunal advocacy.
• Excellent advocacy, negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, high‑performing team.
