Employment Lawyer – Contentious Focus (UK)

About the role

We are a leading global mobility platform seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to lead our UK employment litigation portfolio. The role is centred on contentious matters, including Employment Tribunal claims, High Court proceedings and multi‑claimant disputes, with a start date in early June.

Key responsibilities

• Take end‑to‑end ownership of Employment Tribunal and High Court claims.
• Manage multi‑claimant and class‑action style disputes.
• Coordinate and oversee external counsel on complex litigation.
• Provide general employment law advisory to HR and Operations teams.
• Stay abreast of evolving worker‑status case law and advise on its impact.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
• Proven track record in employment law and litigation, preferably with gig‑economy or worker‑status experience.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives.
• Experience working in‑house is desirable; strong private‑practice background also acceptable.
