Employment Lawyer – Employment Law Solicitor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join our growing employment law team at Richard Nelson LLP. The role will involve representing both employees and employers on a varied caseload, with a focus on claimant matters across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of employment matters from inception to conclusion.
• Draft legal documents, policies, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and provide commercially sound advice.
• Represent clients in disputes, grievances, settlement agreements and tribunal advocacy.
• Maintain high professional standards and cost‑effective work practices.
• Utilise time‑recording systems and IT tools efficiently.
• Contribute to business development and promotion of the firm’s employment law services.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with proven experience in employment law.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently and deliver client‑focused solutions.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Commitment to up‑to‑date legal knowledge and professional development.
