Employment Lawyer

About the role

We are partnering with a growing boutique law firm in Central London to expand its employment team. The role offers the chance to work on a diverse client portfolio, ranging from SMEs to global corporates, and to develop expertise across the full spectrum of employment law.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive employment law advice to a varied client base, including senior executives and employees.
• Negotiate and draft settlement agreements across all sectors.
• Manage Employment Tribunal litigation, taking increasing autonomy as experience grows.
• Support business development by generating ideas, building relationships, and contributing to the firm’s growth strategy.
• Collaborate closely with the Founder, benefiting from mentorship and a collaborative working environment.

Required profile

• 3–7+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in employment law.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts.
• Willingness to work without a pre‑existing client following.
