Employment Solicitor – 5+ PQE, London

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience to join a top‑50 UK law firm’s nationally recognised Employment team in London.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of contentious matters including Employment Tribunal litigation, disciplinary and grievance issues, unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, redundancy and restructuring projects.
• Provide strategic HR and employment law advice to PLCs, SMEs and senior executives across sectors such as financial services, hospitality, transport and professional services.
• Advise on employment aspects of corporate transactions, including TUPE, employment due diligence, service agreements and settlement agreements, working closely with the Corporate team.

Required profile

• 5+ years PQE with strong experience in both contentious and non‑contentious employment law.
• Excellent technical expertise, commercial awareness and communication skills.
• Collaborative approach and genuine passion for employment law.
