Employment Solicitor – 5+ PQE – £70k‑£85k

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor with at least five years of post‑qualification experience to join a Legal 500‑ranked team in Hertfordshire. The role offers high‑quality work, genuine career progression and flexible working arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload covering Employment Tribunal litigation, disciplinary and grievance matters, discrimination and whistleblowing claims.
• Handle redundancy, restructuring projects, TUPE transfers and strategic workforce planning.
• Provide commercially focused, pragmatic advice to employers, senior executives and HR professionals.
• Contribute to business development, networking and raising the profile of the Employment team.

Required profile

• 5+ years PQE with strong experience in both contentious and non‑contentious employment law.
• Excellent technical knowledge, advocacy, drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Strong commercial awareness and a commitment to exceptional client care.
• Experience in business development and client relationship management is desirable.
