About the role

Our client, a well‑established law firm specialising in employment law, is seeking a mid‑level Employment Solicitor to join their claimant team. You will work on high‑profile cases that protect employee rights and support trade unions, operating within a collaborative and socially‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of claimant employment matters, ensuring high‑quality client service.
• Man the advice line, providing timely legal guidance to union officers.
• Support business development initiatives and nurture relationships with trade unions.
• Mentor and supervise junior solicitors and paralegals, fostering professional growth.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with at least 2 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Proven track record in claimant employment law.
• Experience working with trade unions is highly desirable.
• Excellent negotiation, litigation and communication abilities.
• Strong commitment to employee rights and social justice.
