Employment Solicitor (NQ to 3 PQE) – Bristol

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Employment Solicitor to join a top‑100 UK law firm’s Bristol office. The role is suitable for newly qualified solicitors up to three years post‑qualification, offering exposure to both contentious and non‑contentious employment matters in a supportive, hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pragmatic, commercial advice to employers across a range of sectors.
• Handle day‑to‑day HR and employment law queries.
• Draft and review employment contracts, policies and procedures.
• Manage disciplinary, grievance and capability matters.
• Assist with redundancy, restructuring projects and TUPE transactions.
• Conduct Employment Tribunal litigation and negotiate settlement agreements.
• Support corporate clients with employment‑related legal work.

Required profile

• NQ to 3 years PQE with at least 1 year of post‑qualification employment law experience (exceptionally strong NQ candidates may be considered).
• Commercially minded with excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Capable of managing a varied caseload while delivering high‑quality client service.
• Eager to develop a career within a collaborative, high‑performing team.
