Employment Solicitor – Senior Level (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join our growing Glasgow team. This senior position offers ownership of complex, high‑level work for well‑known national clients across multiple sectors, with a supportive, collegiate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on complex contentious and non‑contentious employment matters for employer clients.
• Represent clients at the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal, including advocacy.
• Provide strategic advice on large‑scale collective redundancies, collective bargaining, TUPE transfers and related consultation processes.
• Support corporate, property and other transactional work that has an employment law dimension.
• Collaborate with immigration, pensions, share‑incentive and tax teams to deliver integrated client advice.
• Design and deliver client training, seminars and webinars.
• Mentor and support the development of junior team members.

Required profile

• 6+ years post‑qualification experience in employment law (Scots or English qualified).
• Proven experience advising businesses across a range of sectors.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with internal and external clients.
• Confident communicator with senior colleagues and client representatives.
• Commercially astute with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective spoken and written advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
