Engineer – Commercial Laundry

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Engineer to join our commercial laundry team. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing laundry equipment, with a strong electrical bias, and works the PM shift from 2:30 pm to 11:45 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs, preventive maintenance (PPM) and fault‑finding on all laundry machinery.
• Conduct diagnostic analysis and testing to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with production, quality assurance and management to optimise processes.
• Oversee installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance of new engineering systems.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry standards, health and safety regulations and best practices.

Required profile

• Recognised engineering qualification (BEng or MEng) – electrical focus preferred.
• Proven experience in an engineering role, ideally within a commercial laundry or similar industrial environment.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams.
