Engineering Supervisor – Data Centre

About the role

The Engineering Supervisor will support the Senior Buildings Manager in delivering core building services for a high‑performance data centre in London. You will ensure that all contractor work meets the required standards and that building systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing engineering projects for operations.
• Coordinate and liaise with contractors on designated engineering works.
• Review and approve risk assessments and method statements.
• Supervise small‑scale installations and routine maintenance activities.
• Sign off completed works and verify quality of maintenance.
• Maintain accurate O&M records and support audits and condition surveys.
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations such as FGAS, L8, lighting, fire and FWT regulations.

Required profile

• Formal qualification in an engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in critical environments, particularly data centres.
• Strong knowledge of project management processes.
• Experience working within ISO‑regulated processes and statutory compliance.
• Ability to oversee health and safety procedures, permits and contractor sign‑in processes.
