Enterprise Strategy Architect

About the role

The Enterprise Strategy Architect will translate complex organisational, technological and strategic challenges into clear, actionable direction that supports Rolls‑Royce’s digital and IT strategy. Working closely with the Vice President for Digital & IT Strategy, the role ensures alignment across delivery teams and capability workstreams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the integrity of delivering the Digital & IT strategy and maintain alignment with evolving enterprise priorities.
• Provide strategic direction and proactive dependency management between Digital & IT delivery teams.
• Connect financial approvals with outcomes to understand initiative size, scale and scope.
• Trace the evolution of strategy over time and articulate decision‑making rationale.
• Orchestrate engagement across teams, articulate needs and follow up to meet commitments.
• Act as deputy to the VP for Digital & IT Strategy.

Required profile

• Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC or above) and a “5‑eyes” national.
• Degree qualified in Engineering, IT, Computing or a related discipline.
• Comfortable operating across technical, business and operational contexts.
• Strong curiosity, clarity of thought and ability to simplify complexity.

Required skills

• Expertise in storytelling and articulating problems for non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to translate business expressions of solutions into clear language.
