Equity Derivatives Sales Trader – Institutional Brokerage

About the role

Our client, a growing institutional brokerage and trading business in London, is seeking an experienced Equity Derivatives Sales Trader. The role will focus on expanding the firm’s equity derivatives franchise by leveraging existing client relationships and generating new business across institutional markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, hedge funds, asset managers, banks and other market participants.
• Identify, originate and execute new business opportunities across listed and OTC equity derivatives.
• Work closely with trading and risk teams to deliver efficient execution and liquidity solutions.
• Provide market colour, trade ideas and product expertise to clients.
• Monitor market developments and communicate relevant opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions and exceptional service.
• Contribute to the strategic growth of the equity derivatives platform.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Equity Derivatives Sales Trading, Delta One Sales or a closely related role.
• Strong understanding of equity derivatives markets and products, both listed and OTC.
• Established relationships with institutional market participants and a track record of revenue generation.
• Commercial instincts and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent communication, relationship management and business development skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
