ERP Transformation Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an ERP Transformation Accountant to support a life‑science client in Wokingham during a critical ERP implementation. This temporary position will focus on maintaining accurate financial data and ensuring compliance throughout the system change.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee migration of financial data into the new ERP platform.
• Align accounting processes with ERP system requirements.
• Review and reconcile financial records to guarantee accuracy.
• Provide day‑to‑day support to the finance team during the transition.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve system issues.
• Prepare regular reports on financial progress and system performance.
• Assist in training finance staff on the new ERP system.
• Maintain adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Previous accounting experience within the life‑science sector.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and related financial processes.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and reconciliation tasks.
