Escalator Engineer – Day Shift (Greater London)

About the role

Join Stannah as an Escalator Engineer on a day‑shift pattern, covering Greater London and the M25 corridor. You will own call‑outs, repairs and preventive maintenance on a wide range of escalators and moving walkways from major manufacturers, working as part of a dedicated Service Branch team.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repairs and emergency call‑outs on escalators and moving walkways.
• Maintain high standards of safety, service quality and customer care on every site.
• Perform risk assessments and complete site log cards for each visit.
• Participate in the on‑call rota to provide coverage during holidays.

Required profile

• Experienced engineer with a strong technical background.
• Problem‑solving mindset and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to manage on‑site work and build relationships with client staff and stakeholders.
