Estates Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a highly organised Estates Project Manager to support the delivery of capital projects for an established Oxford‑based company. The role acts as a key link between project teams, contractors and internal stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead coordination of major and minor capital projects from planning through to delivery.
• Serve as the primary liaison between contractors, consultants and internal teams.
• Manage project finances, budgets and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor progress, risks and performance, producing reports for senior stakeholders and committees.
• Support governance processes, preparing papers, attending meetings and tracking actions.
• Contribute to procurement processes and supplier management for smaller projects.
• Provide analytical insight to improve systems, maintenance processes and project outcomes.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education or equivalent with proven project coordination/management experience.
• Strong financial and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently.
