Estimator – Construction Tender Specialist

About the role

The Estimator will lead the preparation of tender documentation and cost estimates for construction projects. Working from our Dartford office, you will act as the primary contact for clients throughout the bid process.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, process and submit tender documentation from enquiry to final bid.
• Review drawings, specifications and related documents to produce accurate cost estimates.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations.
• Identify value‑engineering opportunities and assess commercial advantages.
• Analyse project risks and opportunities and support procurement activities.
• Attend pre‑contract meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients and supply‑chain partners.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in estimating mechanical or electrical construction projects.
• Recently qualified or working towards a relevant building services qualification (HNC/HND) is desirable.
• Self‑motivated, ambitious and committed to professional development.

Required skills

• Strong IT proficiency, especially Microsoft Office.
