EU Litigation Counsel

About the role

As an EU Litigation Counsel you will lead Amazon’s most critical private litigation matters across Europe, working directly with senior business leaders and legal teams. You will navigate complex disputes and regulatory challenges in national and EU courts, shaping long‑term strategy for novel legal issues.

Key responsibilities

• Drive high‑impact private litigation matters in national and EU courts.
• Advise business and legal colleagues on concurrent litigation and regulatory challenges across multiple jurisdictions.
• Shape Amazon’s long‑term strategy on high‑impact, novel legal issues.
• Represent Amazon in cross‑border disputes and coordinate with local legal teams.
• Manage senior, international outside‑counsel teams on diverse legal matters.
• Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership in the EU and US.
• Develop mechanisms for training, knowledge sharing, and cross‑functional coordination.
• Deploy AI skills to improve efficiency and quality of legal processes.

Required profile

• Significant experience in complex domestic and international business litigation.
• Proven ability to manage senior and international outside‑counsel teams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strategic thinking about emerging legal trends and risk assessment.
