European Tax Manager

About the role

The European Tax Manager will join Addleshaw Goddard’s in‑house tax team, reporting to senior management and supporting the firm’s expanding international operations. The role focuses on direct tax compliance for European partners and corporate entities, with a particular emphasis on UK and Irish partnership tax filings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file Irish tax returns for partners and related entities.
• Prepare UK tax returns for profits allocated to European partners, including forecasting and cash‑flow modelling.
• Review schedules and analyses for corporate and partnership tax returns.
• Maintain relationships with external tax advisers and local finance teams across jurisdictions.
• Lead improvement and automation projects within the tax function.

Required profile

• Qualified tax or accounting professional (e.g., CTA, ACA) or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience preparing individual and corporate Irish tax returns.
• Self‑starter with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and strong accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
