Event Executive

About the role

The Event Executive will work closely with the Event Manager and the wider events team to deliver a diverse portfolio of tourism‑focused events across the UK and internationally. This role ensures events meet high standards, stay within budget and exceed delegate and partner expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating and executing events from concept through to post‑event analysis.
• Manage event budgets, track expenditures and ensure financial targets are met.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, external partners and suppliers to secure venues, services and logistics.
• Support the creation of event materials, schedules and communication plans.
• Monitor event performance metrics and compile reports for senior management.
• Provide on‑site support during events, handling any issues that arise.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in event coordination or a similar role within a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with partners and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a proactive problem‑solving approach.
