Event Sales Manager – Southern UK Venues

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Event Sales Manager to drive revenue across our Southern venue portfolio. You will be responsible for generating new business, converting enquiries into confirmed bookings, and nurturing long‑term client relationships while ensuring each event delivers an outstanding experience.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business across corporate, agency, charity, association and private event markets.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through networking, prospecting and referrals.
• Attend networking events, exhibitions and client meetings to promote our venues.
• Manage incoming enquiries, prepare proposals, quotations and contracts, and negotiate commercial terms.
• Deliver venue presentations and client show‑rounds.
• Collaborate with venue and operational teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and activity reports.
• Identify upsell opportunities to maximise revenue.

Required profile

• Proven experience in event sales or venue management.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own transport.
• Commercially driven with a passion for hospitality.
• Willingness to work Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑5:30 pm with occasional evenings and weekends.
• Ability to travel across South UK (Chichester, Guildford, Weybridge, Brighton).
