Events Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Events Manager to lead a busy programme of seminars and conferences for a renowned global law firm. The role combines event delivery with strategic marketing to boost client engagement and cross‑selling across the firm’s practices.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with lawyers and Business Development teams to set clear event objectives aligned with firm priorities.
• Plan, execute and oversee in‑person, virtual and hybrid events from concept through post‑event analysis.
• Use data and attendance analytics to refine event strategy and drive follow‑up campaigns.
• Promote events internally and externally to maximise visibility, attendance and cross‑practice collaboration.
• Work closely with digital, CRM, brand and communications teams to integrate events into wider marketing programmes.
• Provide guidance, quality control and escalation support to the events team throughout the event lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a marketing or events role within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Previous line‑management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi‑location programmes, including international events.
• Flexible and adaptable, able to support events outside standard hours when required.
• Marketing qualification (e.g., CIM) or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM and email‑marketing platforms, specifically InterAction and Vuture.
• Strong proficiency in using CRM systems for data‑driven event planning.
