Events & Marketing Officer

About the role

The Events & Marketing Officer will support the Head of Events in delivering a high‑profile programme of up to 40 member events each year. Working from our London office, you will be involved in planning, execution and post‑event evaluation across business, social and sporting occasions.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the strategic planning, delivery and evaluation of the annual events calendar.
• Own the end‑to‑end delivery of assigned events, ensuring they stay within budget and meet deadlines.
• Complete internal and external risk assessments and ensure compliance with RWHA policies.
• Manage event budgeting, invoicing, forecasting and variance reporting.
• Handle guest booking, invitation preparation, venue liaison and logistical coordination.
• Represent the organisation on‑site, gather feedback and follow up after each event.
• Develop sponsorship and partnership opportunities and track supplier support.
• Provide guidance to the Warrants and Administrative Assistant on event‑related tasks.
• Collaborate with the Director of Warrants & Communications and the Development Manager on communications and new initiatives.

Required profile

• Full‑time role (35 hours per week) with a minimum of four days in the office.
• Start date: July 2026.
• Salary £36,000 (depending on experience) plus 25 days holiday and contributory pension.
