About the role
The Buckingham School is seeking mature, enthusiastic individuals to act as Exam Invigilators for both internal and external examinations. You will work flexible morning or afternoon sessions during term‑time, ensuring a smooth and secure exam environment for students.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the integrity of all examinations by following strict safeguarding and exam procedures.
- Supervise students during exam sessions, ensuring they adhere to exam rules.
- Assist with the set‑up and collection of exam materials before and after each session.
- Work flexible hours, typically starting at 8:30 am for morning sessions or 1:00 pm for afternoon sessions.
Required profile
- Confident communicator who can interact effectively with students and staff.
- Vigilant, organised and approachable, able to remain calm under pressure.
- Genuine interest in education and willingness to support young people.
- Team‑player who follows given guidelines and safeguarding procedures.
- Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check with barred list.
