About the role
We are seeking a qualified teacher to work as a GCSE French (2024 Specification) Examiner. The role is fully remote, allowing you to mark candidate scripts from home using Pearson’s ePEN platform during the May‑July marking window.
Key responsibilities
- Mark candidate responses accurately and consistently according to the official mark scheme.
- Submit sample scripts to the Team Leader at designated times.
- Meet all marking milestones and deadlines.
- Complete required administrative tasks as specified.
Required profile
- At least one academic year of recent teaching experience (within the last 8 years) in the relevant subject.
- Qualified teacher status with a degree or equivalent.
- High level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the ePEN marking platform.
