Experienced IFA Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IFA Administrator to lead a team of administrators supporting financial advisers. This hybrid role combines hands‑on client administration with supervisory responsibilities, offering a clear path to senior leadership within a growing independent financial planning firm.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and motivate a team of IFA administrators to ensure high performance and productivity.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end client administration process, from onboarding through policy servicing.
• Allocate workloads, monitor deadlines and maintain service level agreements.
• Act as escalation point for complex queries and cases.
• Continuously improve internal processes to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Support advisers with client reviews, new business submissions and compliance requirements.
• Ensure all activities comply with FCA regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an IFA or wealth‑management environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial products such as pensions, investments and protection.
• Previous team‑leadership or supervisory experience.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage competing priorities.
