Experienced Plumber – East Sussex (Full‑time)

About the role

Axis CLC is seeking experienced and versatile plumbers to join its team supporting the Southern Housing contract across East Sussex. You will deliver reactive repairs and maintenance for thousands of homes, ensuring properties are safe, comfortable and well maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out a range of plumbing repairs, maintenance and minor installations.
• Diagnose faults and complete effective, timely repairs.
• Repair and replace taps, sinks, toilets, pipework and associated fittings.
• Support general property maintenance tasks as required.
• Use PDA/mobile technology to manage and update work orders accurately.
• Respond to day‑to‑day reactive maintenance and emergency repair tasks.

Required profile

• Experience in plumbing within social housing, domestic maintenance or property repairs.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fault‑finding and repair techniques.
• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent) – desirable.
• Clean full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
• Professional, reliable and customer‑focused approach.
