About the role

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to lead our Private Client department on a hybrid basis. The role offers the chance to manage a varied caseload and supervise a small team while working in a supportive, high‑quality environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a private client portfolio covering wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, trusts and tax planning.
  • Supervise and mentor a solicitor and a paralegal, or work alongside them as required.
  • Maintain high standards of client service and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Contribute to the department’s strategic growth and succession planning.

Required profile

  • Qualified Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive.
  • Proven experience handling a private client caseload in the areas listed above.
  • Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience preferred for the head of department role.
