About the role
Acorn by Synergie is seeking an experienced seamstress or seamster to join a busy manufacturing operation in Estover, Plymouth. The role involves producing high‑quality garments to meet customer specifications on a temporary basis, with the possibility of becoming permanent.
Key responsibilities
- Sew and alter garments according to detailed specifications.
- Repair minor damages and perform mending tasks.
- Interpret patterns and select appropriate fabrics.
- Cut fabric and stitch components into finished products.
- Meet production targets while maintaining strict quality standards.
Required profile
- Recent, proven experience as a seamstress or seamster.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work to deadlines and production targets.
- Strong focus on delivering quality workmanship.
