Experienced Solicitor (4+ PQE) – Insurance Litigation

About the role
Keoghs LLP, a leading UK insurance law firm, is seeking a solicitor with at least four years post‑qualification experience to manage a portfolio of household and commercial property recovery files. The role combines technical litigation work with client‑facing responsibilities, including training and relationship development.
Key responsibilities
- Initial review and reporting on recovery files
- Managing disclosure and reviewing evidence
- Conducting investigations and instructing counsel and experts
- Legal research and drafting of pleadings, Part 36 offers and applications
- Attending conferences, trials and ADR sessions
- Liaising with insurers, senior claims handlers and lay clients
- Negotiating settlements and preparing pre‑action and interim applications
- Ensuring compliance with SRA standards and regulations
Required profile
- Previous experience in a defendant insurance litigation firm
- Specific litigation experience in household and commercial recoveries
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and seminar delivery
Required skills
- Proficiency with case management systems
