About the role
Our client, a growing manufacturing business in Hastings, is seeking reliable Extruder Operatives to join their production team. You will work on a shift basis, operating and maintaining extruder machinery while ensuring product quality and a safe working environment.
Key responsibilities
- Run, monitor and clean extruder machines throughout the shift.
- Perform quality checks on finished products.
- Maintain a tidy work area and keep the factory floor clean.
- Report any issues or irregularities to supervisors promptly.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with heavy lifting and other physical tasks as required.
Required profile
- Strong organisational abilities and punctuality.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow training.
- Reliable, enthusiastic and looking for a long‑term position.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Own transport is advantageous due to shift patterns.
