EYFS SEN Teacher – Full‑time Permanent Role in Ashford

About the role

Our client, a specialist SEN school in Ashford, is seeking enthusiastic EYFS SEN Teachers to join their team from September. This permanent, full‑time position offers the chance to shape inclusive early years provision for pupils with autism, SEMH and complex learning needs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated EYFS lessons tailored to individual SEN profiles.
• Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that promotes both academic and emotional growth.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists and external professionals to implement personalised learning plans.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as required.
• Maintain effective communication with parents/carers and uphold safeguarding and SEN policies.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• Proven experience teaching primary‑aged pupils with SEN, particularly ASD, SEMH or complex needs.
• Strong commitment to inclusive education and child‑centred practice.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) and full legal right to work in the UK.

• Knowledge of evidence‑based strategies and interventions for primary SEN learners.
