About the role
Prospero Teaching is recruiting an EYFS Teaching Assistant for a Good‑rated primary school in West London. The role starts on 1 September 2026 and runs for the academic year, with the possibility of extension or a permanent offer based on performance.
Key responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
- Assist with classroom management, lesson preparation and individual pupil support.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.
- Participate in staff training and professional development sessions.
Required profile
- Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Minimum one year of EYFS experience in the UK.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
Required skills
- Knowledge of EYFS statutory framework.
- Ability to follow safeguarding and child‑protection policies.
