Fabricator/Welder (MIG & TIG) – Sheet Metal Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder proficient in MIG and TIG processes to join a well‑established engineering team in Dartford. You will work on bespoke sheet‑metal projects for commercial, residential, industrial and architectural applications.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate custom sheet‑metal components from CAD and engineering drawings.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper.
• Operate press brakes and other fabrication machinery to cut, bend and form metal.
• Finish and inspect components to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe workshop environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in light sheet‑metal fabrication.
• Confident and competent in both MIG and TIG welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD files.
• Willingness to work Monday‑Thursday 7:00‑15:30 and Friday 7:00‑14:30.
