Facilities Supervisor – 12 month contract

About the role

The Facilities Supervisor will lead daily operations for a defence and aerospace client in Havant on a 12‑month contract. You will ensure safety, manage maintenance activities, and coordinate both internal teams and external contractors while maintaining compliance with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily facilities operations and act as first‑line safety lead, reviewing RAMS and issuing permits.
• Plan, monitor and report on maintenance work carried out by external contractors.
• Ensure timely completion of statutory inspections for all assets and verify landlord compliance.
• Develop and improve maintenance job plans and validate reports and certificates before CMMS closure.
• Represent facilities during project handovers and new plant acceptance.
• Collect asset registration data and support CMMS data integrity.
• Maintain facilities‑related command media in line with business and legislative standards.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a facilities or maintenance environment.
• Experience working with both in‑house maintenance teams and external contractors.
• Ability to obtain SC‑level security clearance.
• NEBOSH Level 2 Health and Safety qualification (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with CMMS platforms such as Maximo or IBM TRIRIGA.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of RAMS, permit‑to‑work processes and basic project management methodologies.
