Factory Assistant – Immediate Start in Basildon

About the role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Factory Assistant to join a well‑established manufacturing business in Basildon. The role offers an immediate start and a supportive team environment within a fast‑paced factory setting.
Key responsibilities
- Package and protect joinery products ready for dispatch.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Move materials throughout the factory as required.
- Support production teams with general factory duties.
- Maintain stock levels of packaging materials.
- Carry out housekeeping duties to keep the workplace clean and safe.
- Provide manual handling and warehouse assistance.
- Support deliveries and collections when needed.
Required profile
- Positive and proactive attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Previous forklift experience is beneficial.

- Forklift operation
What we offer
- £13.45 per hour.
- Monday‑to‑Friday, 8am‑5pm schedule.
