Family Law Solicitor – Hybrid Working

About the role

We are expanding our Family Law team and are looking for newly qualified and associate solicitors to join Co‑op Legal Services. The role offers hybrid working, with one day a week in the office and the rest remote, and provides a supportive environment to develop your legal career.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a mixed caseload of family matters and negotiate to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
• Use our case management system to record information accurately.
• Meet individual and team chargeable time and profit targets.
• Draft and audit legal documents and correspondence.
• For senior or lead positions, provide line‑management, mentor junior team members, delegate work, act as a subject‑matter expert, and contribute to strategic marketing of the department.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX qualified with experience handling privately funded family law matters.
• Proven ability to work towards and meet chargeable and billing targets.
• Good general IT skills, including use of a case management system.
• Strong relationship‑building abilities and excellent customer service.
• High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and resilience.
