Family Law Solicitor – Private & Public (Hybrid, £35-45k)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Family Law Solicitor to join a reputable regional law firm in Stockport. The role is hybrid, offering two days of remote work each week, and involves managing a diverse private and public family law caseload.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively manage your own caseload of private and public family law matters.
• Prepare thorough documentation and pleadings for cases up to trial.
• Liaise sensitively with clients, providing advice and overseeing document execution.
• Attend client meetings, draft relevant legal documents, and ensure compliance with firm policies and legislation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of family law developments through training and self‑study.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with solid experience in family law.
• Ability to handle an independent caseload and deliver high‑quality client service.
• Strong client‑facing skills, empathy, and a proactive business development mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with a professional telephone manner.
