Family Office Manager – Tax Compliance (Edinburgh)

About the role

Join a leading global professional services firm as a Manager within its Family Office & Private Client Tax Compliance team in Edinburgh. You will support high‑net‑worth individuals, family businesses, trustees and estates, delivering high‑quality personal tax and trust compliance services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of private‑client tax matters, ensuring timely and accurate compliance.
• Prepare and review trust accounts, trust tax returns and inheritance tax reports.
• Provide advisory support on capital gains tax, residence and remittance issues, succession planning and wealth preservation.
• Develop long‑term client relationships and identify opportunities for additional advisory services.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the wider tax practice on complex projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Private Client or Personal Tax environment, preferably within a professional services firm.
• Strong background in managing personal tax compliance for high‑net‑worth individuals, trusts and estates.
• Direct experience of trust compliance, including trust tax returns and administration.
• Qualified as ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent experience.
• Commercially minded with excellent client relationship skills.
