About the role
We are seeking a Family Solicitor to join our Essex office, handling a mixed caseload of private and publicly funded family law matters. You will work on divorce, financial and children cases, contributing to positive outcomes for clients and the wider community.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a varied portfolio of family law cases, including divorce, financial settlements and child arrangements.
- Represent clients in both privately and publicly funded matters.
- Undertake advocacy work where required and liaise with courts.
- Collaborate with senior team members to support public law childcare issues when needed.
Required profile
- 2‑4 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in family law.
- Demonstrable experience of Family Legal Aid work.
- Ability to conduct own advocacy is desirable.
- Experience of public law childcare work is advantageous.
