Family Solicitor – 8+ PQE – Cambridgeshire

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join our Cambridgeshire office. You will work with privately funded clients, handling complex relationship breakdowns, divorce, and financial matters while contributing to the growth of our family law department.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of private family law matters from inception to conclusion.
• Advise clients on divorce, civil partnership dissolution, financial remedy, high‑net‑worth settlements, property division, pension sharing, cohabitation disputes, separation agreements, and pre‑/post‑nuptial agreements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service.
• Develop referral networks with financial advisers, accountants and other introducers.
• Contribute to marketing, business development and networking initiatives.
• Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and firm procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in family law.
• Membership of Resolution, Family Law Accreditation or equivalent specialist recognition.
• Established professional network and referrer relationships.
• Experience supervising junior lawyers and support staff.
• Strong client‑care focus and business‑development orientation.
